After a scenic ride up the Elk Chair take a leisurely hike on the Boom Trail, visit the Lizard Bowl Observation Deck, or check out the fossils on Skeleton Flats. Venturing up the Timber Chair (open on weekends) offers a variety of alpine hiking trails, and access to Lost Boys Cafe, open for lunch and special events. In addition to the breathtaking mountain scenery, you'll see our native trees & alpine wildflowers, and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of our local wildlife. On your wanders, be on the lookout for our FAR Out Views
signs - these are located in great photo op spots, so take a photo, post it on your social media and tag us using #lovefernie.
Guests then have the option to return to the top of the chairlifts for a scenic ride back down the mountain or hike one of our on-mountain trails to the base area.
Please Note: Sightsee lift tickets are valid for a single ride (up & down the lift). All children must be able to walk independently to ride the chairlift.
