Tour Options
- Skeleton Flats (Easy to Moderate difficulty, 5 hour duration): A stunning alpine hiking experience climbing through the Dancer avalanche path before connecting with the Summer Road and the remarkable terrain of Skeleton Flats. This unique alpine ecosystem supports abundant wildflowers and wildlife, as well as fossil-rich limestone formations dating back to ancient shallow seabeds. Along the route, hikers may encounter moose, bears, and breathtaking alpine scenery. The views from the top of the Facelift showcase the incredible scale and beauty of the surrounding mountains.
- Griz Face (Moderate difficulty, 5 hour duration): This hike is an ascent of Lizard Bowl. The spectacular vistas of the Elk Valley will be unobscured, and the opportunities to view wildlife will increase as you get higher. On the trip, you will pass two or three areas with numerous alpine wildflowers, and the scree slopes will provide abundant habitat for seldom-seen Pikas and Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels. The fossils are everywhere in the limestone as this was at one time ancient shallow seabeds. The view from the top of the Facelift will fill you with a sense of the magnitude of the mountains. Bring food/snacks, water, camera and wear sturdy footwear.
- Berry Back Ridge (Moderate/Advanced difficulty, on Timber days only): A new hiking trail that connects the Timber Chair top to Megasaurus. It climbs slightly above the Chair and takes hikers across the Timber Bowl and onto the Diamond Back Ridge. The ridge provides unique views of Currie and Timber Bowls and offers nice hiking terrain. A small cliff band must be navigated just above the connection point with the Megasaurus.

- All children must be able to walk independently to ride the chairlift. Front child carriers are allowed; however, the child must be able to walk independently.
