This program provides a fun, supportive, and challenging environment for young skiers looking to develop their big mountain skills while exploring the pathway to freeride competition. Designed for competent skiers who are comfortable skiing expert terrain, the program focuses on developing strong technical skills, mountain awareness, sound decision-making, and confidence across a variety of conditions and terrain. Working with experienced coaches, athletes will build the skills needed to ski powder, steeps, natural features, and freeride competition venues safely and effectively. Throughout the season, athletes will refine their skiing, develop line selection and competition strategies, and build the skills, resilience, and mindset needed for both personal progression and competitive success. Athletes will have opportunities to participate in local and regional IFSA Junior Freeride competitions.
